"In 2014 I had a pretty bad twisted ankle and never in 8 years of ice skating and 3 years of Thai boxing I have injure myself like that. It took me over 6 months to manage to do sport for the first time. I have decided then to get a personal trainer in order to motivated myself again and get back in shape. Heanney really helped me to get back on track! She understood my needs, my pace and for sure motivated to re-build my muscle and my strength! She is very enthusiast and work out with you!

"During my 7 years of studying abroad in the UK, I have encountered numerous comments on my thick legs, my round face and plump body shape from certain friends and family. I was convinced by their observations that I was either too fat and wasn't good enough to be to the skinny pretty girl. Arriving to my first gym class in Hong Kong after 7 years abroad- I was insecure, angry and was ready to prove them wrong.

In the 3 years of consistent training, it has made me realize what's important, and it is not about proving people wrong. But being comfortable in my own skin and having a healthy mindset and lifestyle. On top of everything, what drives me most to be an early bird to sweat and feel the burn at 7am is the constant pursuit of self-improvement with discipline. Because I know that fitness isn't about being better than anybody else, but it's about being better than I use to be."

"To me, what’s most important is the attitude of those that train you. If they’re style is to go hard like the military, yelling at you to motivate you, then I’ll be the first to peace out. Having a bond with your trainer is important and what Heanney provides is encouragement. She corrects your form, laughs when you mess up and pushes you to complete a set by getting down on the floor and doing it with you. She’s dedicated to her craft and her number one drive is her client’s happiness. I’ve seen her run across an outdoor space, just so that the last man standing isn’t completing the task alone. All of this is what makes me return. Trust me, I hate burpees, squats, and all the things Heanney loves to torture us with. But the key here, the beauty behind it all, is that she’s able to change my mentality on fitness. I actually enjoy working out now and I’m sure you will too.
